The Paris of Central Europe

A beautiful, walkable city that follows the Vltava River, Prague is a current European hot spot, and many say its charm and allure rival that of Paris. With its gorgeous architecture, cobblestone streets, and fairytale landmarks, Prague is an idyllic escape for beach-weary travelers who want to immerse themselves in a unique cityscape and get lost in history. An eclectic Bohemian scene includes authentic beer gardens—perfect stops to refuel with a pint and discover Prague’s locals. This trendy Central European destination offers an enticing mix of culture and architecture, while its food scene is gaining notoriety as well.

Things To Do

Know Before You Go

July is the hottest month in Prague, and between May and October average weather temps range from 51°F to 73°F. The coldest month is January (30°F), while the sunniest days are enjoyed in June.
Fly into Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG), located roughly 30 minutes from the city center. We don’t recommend renting a car, as driving the city streets can be challenging. Taxis range from €30-€50 from airport to the city center.
Plan ahead to make lunch and dinner reservations, as most restaurants have a wait otherwise. Many dining venues and stores are closed on Sunday. We recommend booking a private chef that evening.
