Aegean Idyll

Long considered one of the most elegant island getaways in Europe, sun-drenched Mykonos is a second home for many jet setters. Despite its glam factor, thatched windmills, simple white-washed homes, and low-key seafood restaurants keep the vibe mellow. Elder island women still lead donkeys through the town's narrow streets and fisherman can be found pulling the day's catch from the sea. Be sure to set aside a day to visit the nearby islet of Delos, which is home to the beaitiful Avenue of the Lions and other antiquities.
