Europe's Renaiassance City

Florence’s cobblestoned streets are drenched in an entirely different light. The Tuscan sun is somehow softer, granting everything it touches a near ethereal glow.

The Club’s three-bedroom residence, Palazzo Opera, pays homage to the 16th Century “Camerata Fiorentina”, the creators of the Lyrical Opera. Scenic machinery used at that time still hangs from the ceiling of the former theatre complemented by 18th Century frescoes and punctuated by Bauhaus furniture, including pieces by Van der Rohe, Eames, and Le Corbusier. The residence features a library, en suite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and spacious common areas.

Explore the city’s unsung charms, from bustling piazzas to serene, painterly landscapes. Unsuspecting narrow streets lead to the surprising grandeur of the more iconic landmarks and guiding international art lovers to Michelangelo’s David in the Galleria dell’Accademia and Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” of the Uffizi Gallery. Ascend the stairs of the Florence Cathedral into Brunelleschi’s iconic dome, shop the jewelry stores of Ponte Vecchio, or sip an affogato at a quiet café.
