Deplar Farm, Fljot Valley

Deplar Farm, a former 18th-century sheep farm on Iceland’s Troll Peninsula, has been transformed into the ultimate adventure base for active travelers who like to be pampered. Part of the Eleven Experience collective, a group of luxe adventure-focused lodges, Deplar Farm has its own team of in-house guides who specialize in fishing and other outdoor pursuits. The 12 bedrooms and one bunkroom are complemented by a gym and yoga studio, outdoor pool (perfect for gazing at the midnight sun) saltwater flotation tanks, and media room with games consoles and a pool table. Take guided evening hikes and head to the North Atlantic for whale watching and beach picnics. And because the sun doesn't set until 10pm this time of year, you're left with hours of adventure potential.
