Spain's Wild Coast

This rocky stretch of coastline begins at Blanes and continues north through 84 miles of beaches and coves to the French border. Ideal for summer road trips, the Costa Brava is full of hidden patches of white sand and excellent seafood spots like Can Pelayo and Royal. Stop in Tossa de Mar, dubbed "Blue Paradise" by painter Marc Chagall, and don't miss the summer house  of Salvador Dalí. Cadaqués, Spain's easternmost town, was a renowned artists' hangout in the early 20th century and is still full of whitewashed beauty.
