Greece's Loveliest Isle

Corfu is an island of colorful contrasts, with turquoise waters, bougainvillea-covered cottages and emerald mountains. Believed to be the inspiration for Prospero's island in Shakespeare's The Tempest, Corfu has inspired countless artists and continues to inspire many vacations. The draw of this northernmost Ionian Island is its simplicity. Stress-free days are filled with wanders through the idyllic countryside, covered in fragrant lavender fields and olive groves, or rambles around town, with its historic architecture.
