New Marsh Walk Homes

As part of our ongoing efforts to grow the Residence Collection, we've added three new residences in the Marsh Walk neighborhood of the new Ocean Park development. With marsh views stretching to the horizon, the homes flanking Marsh House blend into a rich, park-filled setting in sight of the world-renowned Ocean Course. Described as “updated Southern coastal” in style, our three new homes have been built and designed with ER Members in mind.

These four-and five-bedroom homes are 3,400-3,500 square feet and feature clean, modern lines with light, beach-inspired decor. The luxury residences have expansive windows so you can enjoy the beautiful marsh views from almost every room in the house, plus an outdoor dining area and either an in-ground or infinity-edge pool. Two of the residences are side-by-side on High Dunes Lane and the third is steps away on Caroline Shores Drive.

Members love Kiawah Island but have missed having access to amenities. We worked diligently to ensure access to Marsh House - the community clubhouse built exclusively for its owners and Club Members staying in the Marsh Walk neighborhood. It offers a large infinity-edge resort pool surrounded by tiered seating areas, elegant locker rooms, a firepit, a Treehouse playground for the kids, and a small cafe.

ER Vacation Essentials

Why Kiawah Island?

One of the first destinations to join the Vacation Collection, Kiawah is perfect for annual multi-generational getaways. "We selected Kiawah Island back in 2003 because it's a must-have destination in any portfolio. It's the best of all worlds - you have world class golf, a beautiful beach, and a historic neighboring city in Charleston. It's easy to access, particularly for our East Coast Members. It truly was a no brainer all the way," says CEO Cathy Ross.

The Inside Scoop

Key Concierge Tips

Don’t neglect to reserve your bike rentals for your next trip to Kiawah Island. Concierge Caroline Ewald says this is the number one thing you can do to make your trip the best it can be. Kiawah Island is 11 miles long and has an extensive bike trail system, so hopping on your bikes and pedaling to all your activities is a fun and easy way to see it all.

Should you wish to explore beyond the island, we recommend renting a car. Members can utilize our partnership with Avis to have a car delivered right to their residence at their preferred date and time.

Get Out There

Kiawah's Must-Do Activity

A day on the water with Holy City Sailing is a Member-favorite activity. Owner Captain Chad personally sails on every private charter and can arrange custom itineraries, from a day of fishing to a surprise engagement. Charters leave from Bohicket Marina, located just outside the gate of Kiawah Island.

Wine and Dine at FIG in Charleston

FIG, a long-lauded eatery opened in 2003 by local restauranteurs Mike Lata and Jason Stanhope, is located in Charleston, just a 45-minute drive from Kiawah Island. Offering a variety of elevated Southern classics and a well-rounded wine list celebrating small-batch wineries, FIG was just awarded the 2018 James Beard for Outstanding Wine Program.

We loved the beautiful views from the home and the dock. Since the weather was a bit chilly, we took the chance to go into Charleston. We loved the Charleston Museum, the Palmetto Carriage Ride, and Old Jail Tour. We had a great time.
