Steve is the Chairman and majority owner of Exclusive Resorts. He is also the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Revolution LLC, a company focused on building significant and innovative, consumer-driven businesses. Steve first invested in Exclusive Resorts in the summer of 2003 and acquired majority ownership in 2004. The company has since become the foremost private club for luxury vacations in the world. Previously, Steve spent 20 years as a pioneer in interactive services as the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of America Online and the Chairman of AOL Time Warner.
Glyn has over 30 years of global experience developing and building hotel brands, raising capital and investing in hotel companies and assets for major companies including Marriott, Interstate Hotels, Le Meridien, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Loews Hotels. Prior to founding Glencove, she served as Chief Investment Officer for Andre Balazs Properties. She has sourced, closed and financed investments of over $2 billion throughout the United States and Europe. She has invested in all segments of the industry from limited service assets to luxury resorts, across all brands, and has purchased, developed ground-up and disposed of assets. Glyn serves as a Board Member of Sunrise Senior Living and an Advisory Board Member for Ennismore Capital (London). She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA Honors from Principia College.
Philippe is one of the most highly regarded executives in the global hospitality industry, with an impressive track record as an innovator and leader. Highlights of his career include serving as Chairman and CEO of Euro Disney and Chairman and CEO of Club Med, as well as Vice Chairman of Revolution Places LLC and CEO of Miraval Resorts. Prior to that, he was President of Accor for the Asia/Pacific region and Executive Vice President for North America. Philippe also has served as the co-CEO of the Davos-based World Economic Forum and as a member of the board of directors of a variety of companies including eBay and Zipcar.
Donn served as Chief Executive Officer and then Executive Chairman of Exclusive Resorts from 2004 to 2009. Donn co-founded, along with Steve Case, Revolution LLC, a principal investing and business building firm and serves as its President. Previously, Donn served for 10 years as a senior executive at America Online, Time Warner, and Tribune Company. Early in his career, Donn was Chief Counsel to the Chicago Cubs, where he was the youngest team attorney in Major League Baseball. He has invested in and helped build numerous new consumer companies into recognized industry leaders.
John is President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Geographic Society and Chairman of the Executive Committee of its Board of Trustees. Prior to joining National Geographic, John was president and Chief Executive Officer of Time Life Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of Time Life Books.
Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in real estate development, luxury hospitality and venture capital, with particular expertise internationally. He is the founder and chairman of Mandara Spa and managing member of Palm Cove Capital.
Prior to helping launch Revolution LLC in 2005, Ron was a partner and National Practice Group Chair at O’Melveny & Myers LLP. Most recently Ron was a senior White House aide to President Obama, and Chief of Staff to Vice President Biden. Earlier, he served as Chief of Staff or Staff Director for Vice President Al Gore, Attorney General Janet Reno, the Senate Democratic Leadership Committee, and the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ron was also Associate Counsel to President Clinton, and a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Byron White. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was an Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and a summa cum laude graduate of Georgetown University.
Since joining Perry Capital in 2007, Robert has focused on managing private investments and negotiated transactions. Previously, Robert was an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York and London. His experience includes complex corporate financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and compliance matters. He also serves on the boards of Barneys New York, Inc. and Capital Business Credit LLC. Robert holds a BA (summa cum laude) from Duke University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Prior to his current role with Boyd Group International, a leading aviation consulting and research firm, Jeff was the Chief Executive Officer of Exclusive Resorts. He has more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry, including serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Airlines and Chief Operating Officer of Intrawest. He also previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Vanguard Airlines, and held various management positions with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Pacific Southwest Airlines, Continental Airlines and Northwest Airlines.
Frank is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fannie Mae, one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. Frank has served in President Jimmy Carter's administration and President Bill Clinton’s cabinet as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, during which time he led the first balanced federal budget in 30 years.
